To view a list of applicants successful on the February 2026 North Carolina Bar Examination who have met all requirements for licensure as of the most recent update, please click HERE. Requirements include, but are not limited to: passing the North Carolina Bar Examination and passing the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE).

Note: There are a number of people who were successful on the February 2026 North Carolina Bar Examination but have not yet taken or passed the MPRE. These people are not on this list.

Relocated Servicemember Applicants and Relocated Servicemember Spouse Applicants

The North Carolina Board of Law Examiners has developed a new application process for Relocated Servicemember Applicants and Relocated Servicemember Spouse Applicants pursuant to the federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), 50 U.S.C. §4025a.  Information about how to apply as a Relocated Servicemember or a Relocated Servicemember Spouse is available on the Board's website or by clicking HERE.

North Carolina to Administer NextGen Uniform Bar Examination Beginning July 2028

Checks and Money Orders Made Payable to 'North Carolina Board of Law Examiners'

All Applicants, please note: Checks and money orders need to be made payable to "North Carolina Board of Law Examiners" or “NC Board of Law Examiners.” Making checks and money orders payable to “NCBLE” is not acceptable.

 

Money orders must have all fields completed.  This includes purchaser name, address, signature, and payee.

 

Checks must have all fields completed.  This includes date, payee, amount, written out amount, and signature.

 

Any omission of these requirements will cause your application to be returned.
